Security

AFC takes commercially reasonable measures to ensure that any information you give to us is stored and maintained in secure servers and not publicly accessible.  AFC protects personal data by only allowing limited, authorized personnel to have access to such personal data.  AFC maintains an encrypted firewall to protect such personal data.  AFC’s software provider is Level 1 PCI DSS-compliant, which helps to ensure that online credit transactions are secure. Contributions use SSL encryption and electronic interactions with payment gateways and other exchanges of sensitive constituent information are always encrypted. In accordance with PCI-DSS compliance, AFC’s software provider does not retain credit card numbers after transactions have been completed. However, despite these efforts, no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100 percent secure.

We have no control over the security of other sites on the Internet you might visit, interact with, or from which you buy products or services.

We care about the safety and privacy of children online, and we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA).
