On April 22, 2017, the Americans for Cures community gathered and joined the March for Science in four cities in California.

The March for Science, held on Earth Day, is a global, nonpartisan movement to defend the vital role science plays in our health, safety, economies, and governments. People marched in Washington, DC and cities around the world to advocate for evidence-based policymaking, science education, research funding, and inclusive and accessible science.
